Speaker: Ski Sim
Ski Sim is the Field Application Director of Stellarchip Technologies Pte. Ltd., where he works closely with semiconductor manufacturers to deliver AI-powered analytics solutions that transform manufacturing data into actionable insights. Leveraging deep technical expertise and extensive customer engagement experience, he helps fabs accelerate yield improvement, optimize production performance, and unlock greater value from their data through advanced analytics and machine learning.
Prior to joining Stellarchip, Ski built over two decades of experience in the semiconductor industry, most recently as a Senior Program Manager at KLA, leading the strategy and product lifecycle for next-generation semiconductor analytics platforms. His career spans defect inspection, yield enhancement, IC design, and cloud-based analytics, with a strong focus on integrating machine learning into yield management solutions. He has partnered with leading semiconductor manufacturers worldwide to develop innovative software solutions that convert complex manufacturing data into measurable improvements in quality, productivity, and yield.
Drawing on his extensive experience in semiconductor analytics and customer-facing solution deployment, Ski will share how manufacturing alarms, equipment signals, and inline process metrics can be transformed into meaningful yield intelligence. In his presentation, "Igniting the Data: Transforming Alarm and Inline Metrics into Yield," he will demonstrate how connecting disparate data sources enables faster root-cause identification, predictive insights, and proactive manufacturing optimization, helping pave the way toward the next generation of intelligent semiconductor fabs.
Subject 2 : Igniting the Data: Transforming Alarm and Ink Metrics into Yield
Abstract:
The convergence of big data ecosystems and advanced AI is reshaping the future of semiconductor design, test, and analysis. While data remains the foundational fuel for modern AI, real value is unlocked when AI transforms fragmented information into actionable intelligence, autonomous decision-making, and continuous operational optimization.
In the emerging Agent Era, the nature of work itself is being redefined - evolving from analytic platform to a true digital workforce and ushering in the rise of digital employees.
